How We Measure Visits

This policy explains what this website collects, why, and how long we keep it.

We use PostHog to see which pages people read and where they get stuck. It records the pages you view, the links and buttons you click, and where you click on a page.

It records which part of the site you use: the gate, Experience, or Read. It records the mode you choose, how long you took to choose it, and whether you asked us to remember it. It also records when you switch modes, with the page you switched from.

On the gate, it records how long the loading screen took, whether everything loaded, and whether your device asks for reduced motion. It also records which version of the opening question you saw, whether your device can run Experience, and your mode from an earlier visit.

If we send you to Read instead of Experience, it records why: for example, a data saver setting, few processor cores, or a slow graphics chip. In Experience, it records which chapters you view, the frame rate of each, and the reason if Experience fails.

On Read, it records the numbers you enter in the price calculator and the monthly total it shows. It also records when you ask for an emailed estimate, with its total, and the color theme you pick.

With every event, PostHog also records your browser, operating system, device type, screen size, the page address, and the page that linked you here.

Your browser sends this data to our own address, not to PostHog. Our server passes it on to PostHog with your IP address. PostHog uses your IP address to estimate your rough location, such as your city and country.

PostHog keeps an identifier for your browser in local storage and in a first-party cookie. The cookie belongs to this website only.

We use no third-party ad pixel.

The Mode Cookie

If you press Yes, Remember It on the opening question, we save a first-party cookie named ceribro_mode. It holds only the mode you chose, Experience or Read, and no identifier. It lasts for one year, so the site can open straight into that mode.

This is a functional cookie. It does not track you, and we do not use it for analytics.

If you press No, Just This Time, or press Esc, the site sets no cookie and removes any earlier one. Choose Again on any page brings the question back.

Session Replay

Session replay records how you move through the site: what each page showed, your scrolling, your mouse movements, and your clicks. We watch replays to find and fix confusing pages.

Replays hide everything you type into a field, and they mask every word inside our forms. A replay never shows your name, your email, or your message.

How Long We Keep It

We delete data on a schedule.

  • Session replays: 90 days.
  • Analytics events, such as page views and clicks: 1 year.
  • A request you send us with a form: until we delete it from our customer records.
  • An estimate you ask us to email, if no request follows it: 90 days.

How To Stop Tracking

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, our analytics never load in your browser. Your browser sends nothing to PostHog and stores nothing for it.

If you send us a form, our server still records one event that a form was sent. That event is not linked to your visit.

You can also stop tracking with the control below or in the footer. It saves a marker in this browser. While the marker is there, our analytics stay off, as they do under Global Privacy Control. If you clear your cookies and site data, the marker goes too.

What The Forms Collect

The contact form asks for your name, company, email, company size, the services you need, and how you prefer we contact you. Your phone number and a message are optional. The quote form also asks for a budget range and a timeline.

The estimate form asks for your email and keeps the numbers you entered and the total.

We use this information to reply to you and to send what you asked for. We do not store your IP address or your browser details.

With a request from the contact or quote form, we also store the time you sent it, which part of the site you used (the gate, Experience, or Read), and a reference code. We store a one-way code made from your email address, the form, and the minute you sent it, so the same form sent twice in the same clock minute is saved once. We keep a log of how we handled the request: its status changes, its hand-offs, and, for any step that failed, the error message or reason we recorded, such as why an email or an analytics event could not be sent.

With an estimate, we also store the time you asked for it, the version of the price list, the time we emailed it to you, and a reference code.

With a request, we also store a one-way hash of your analytics identifier, so we can see which visits lead to requests. Under Global Privacy Control, or after you stop tracking, we store none.

Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, sent the form. It receives your IP address for that check. We send our emails through Resend.

Zoom Scheduler loads only when you press the button to book a discovery call. Until then, nothing loads from Zoom, and Zoom receives nothing from you.

When you send the contact form or the quote form, our server tells PostHog that a form was sent. The event has the form type, the services, the company size, and which part of the site you used (the gate, Experience, or Read). We never send PostHog your name, email, phone, or message.
